1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): 10 Posts
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): 02 Posts
3. Diploma Trainee (Telecom) for Kashmir Valley: 02 Posts
4. Junior Supervisor Trainee(HR): 05 Posts
5. Jr Technician Trainee(Elect): 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates upper age should be 27 years for General, 30 years for OBC, 32 years for SC as on 20-03-2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering for S.No 1, Diploma in Civil Engineering for S.No 2, Diploma in Electronics & Communications Engineering for S.No 3, PG Diploma in Personnel Management/ MSW/ equivalent for S.No 4, ITI (Electrical) for S.No 5 from recognized Technical board/institute.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Written Test, computer skill test, trade test & Interview.
Application Fee: For Diploma Trainee (Electrical/ Civil/ Telecom)/ Junior Supervisor Trainee (HR): Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- for General and OBC (NCL) category through a non-refundable Demand Draft, drawn in favor of ‘Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.’ payable at Jammu.
For Junior Technacial Trainee (HR): Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- for General and OBC (NCL) category through a non-refundable Demand Draft, drawn in favor of ‘Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.’ payable at Jammu. For all posts candidates need to write their Name, Father’s Name and the Post applied for on the reverse of the Demand Draft
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed application format by downloading the same and typing on computer Times New Roman with Font Size 8 only the particulars in the format this application with complete in all respects should be printed and signed by the applicant along with self attested copies of in support of identity, age, qualification, caste etc & DD in an envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of ________” to Manager, Power Grid Corporation of India LTD, Northern Region-II, Grid Bhawan, Near Bahu Plaza, Rail Head Complex, Jammu (J&K)-180012.
